Hello friends,
I'm quite used by now to the fact that nearly every second cover from Great Britain has no postmark on the stamps.
But new to me is that in Port Vila they wallow in the same vice.
Mr Roy would rotate in his grave if he knew!

Please look at the attached scan of a registred letter I received today from Port Vila!

Roland, this seems to be a common occurrence in the Pacific now - I have seen many uncancelled covers from Tuvalu and Samoa over the past few years... very unfortunate...

Even worse now, Brian.
At end of February I received a cover which had the "used" stamps of these presentation packs affixed which they offer in Port Vila. So the stamps were "cancelled" but the cover had no cancel at all - the stamps had January cancels!

Roland, I think this topic deserves a thread of its own! We have the same problem with "top row" spray cancels here in Canada...

I opened a thread in "General" but attendance to this forum is not overwhelming!
