A collector asked me a few days ago for the postal rates (particularly for aerogrammes) during the time of the Gilberts and Kiribati. I have the rates from 1991-present. Vernon's book has rates up to the aerly 1970s, but my cpy of Fitchett's book does not have the postal rates chapter. Does anyone know if there is a draft version of Fitchett's chapter available, or does anyone know where I can locate postal rate information for the Gilberts and Kiribati from 1970-1991?

Keith's book covers postal rates up to 1975 in chapter 2.6.2, so he doesn't go much further than Vernon.

Hi. I have a new interest in the Tuvalu Fish Definitive issue (1979) and the later Fish definitive (1997) and was curious about the more modern postage rates that were applicable at that time (1979 forward). I wonder if your recent searches have borne any fruit? Thanks. Paul Xavier (Australia)
