This book provides a comprehensive guide to the various postal markings of the Solomon Islands, filing a long felt gap in the literature available to those interested not only in the Solomon Islands exclusively, but also any postal historian with more than a passing interest in postal markings of the Pacific Islands.
The bulk of the publication relates to an alphabetical listing of each Post Office or Postal Agency and its postal markings. Also included are sections on Special Event and other miscellaneous markings including, Tax, Paquebot and Instructional Markings amongst others. A final section covers Forged and Fake Cancellations. Illustrations are in black and white.
