I've, recently, been advised that a XX overprint template has been produced & is, currently, being done using both 63c & 81c definitives.

There are 14 overprints values in total viz. 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 20c, 23c, 38c, 40c, 42c, 44c, 50c & 65c

Bear in mind that the 40c XX overprint template already exists &, to the best of my knowledge at this stage, is being used for these overprints too.

Post Fiji are trying to exhaust stocks of these 1995 definitives as they are becoming ever more stuck together.

When 63c & 81c values are exhausted overprints will be done on the 87c value (I've no idea of stock though). A decision will be made, at the appropriate time, on overprinting (or not) the $1

$2 & $3 values are exhausted which only leaves the $5 which will, I'm told, not be overprinted.

As to the succession plan when all Birds Definitives are exhausted.....who knows; I, at this stage, don't!
